North Cyprus has some of the quietest and most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. Whether you want soft golden sand, a lively beach club or a peaceful bay where turtles come ashore, there is a beach for every kind of holiday.

Golden Beach (Karpaz)

Often called the most beautiful beach on the island, Golden Beach stretches along the Karpaz Peninsula with wide sand dunes and crystal-clear water. It is wild and unspoilt, with only a few simple cafés and huts nearby – perfect for a full day away from everything.

Long Beach (İskele)

Long Beach is the heart of the İskele resort area. Its shallow, calm water makes it ideal for families, and the beachfront promenade has restaurants, cafés and water sports. Many of our holiday homes in Caesar Resort, Caesar Blue and Grand Sapphire are just a short walk or drive away.

Alagadi (Turtle Beach)

East of Kyrenia, Alagadi is a protected nesting site for loggerhead and green turtles. During the summer nesting season parts of the beach are closed in the evening, and local conservation volunteers sometimes run guided turtle watches.

The Esentepe coast

Between the mountains and the sea, the Esentepe coastline offers quiet coves, golf and beach clubs. It is a great base if you want a relaxed stay with sea views, while Kyrenia is still within easy driving distance.

Tip: many of the best beaches are outside the towns, so renting a car makes it much easier to explore. You can book one together with your stay on our car rental site.
